It’s almost that time again, Badgers – Homecoming 2015!
With the best of athletic events, a performance by singer Pat Hewitt, reunions and the Red Dinner, this Homecoming will be another one for the books. Your inner badger will be fueled all weekend long, from Sept. 18-20.
Homecoming kicks off with the annual RBC Steelblade Classic on Friday, Sept. 18. Head downtown to Mansion House afterward to celebrate what will surely be a Brock Victory with fellow alumni, and dance the night away.
On Saturday the celebrations continue with reunions, OUA varsity athletics, exclusive wine tastings and campus tours. That afternoon, the Brock University Alumni Association will honour exceptional alumni at the Alumni Recognition Reception. Those who graduated 25 or more years ago will also be feted with an induction into the Cameo Club.
Saturday winds down with our signature event. The Red Dinner is back again, offering the delicious tastes of several local food trucks, including Gorilla Cheese, Southern Smoke, and Tony’s Corner StrEATery. The bar will be stocked with Niagara’s finest wines made by Brock alumni, and local Niagara craft beers. We’ve booked perennial favourite performer Pat Hewitt to keep the party going all night long.
The Brock University Alumni Association has sponsored a free shuttle bus throughout the GTA to transport those travelling from out of town back to their alma mater. Stops are scheduled at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Dixie Mall in Mississauga, and Mapleview Mall in Burlington. Once in St. Catharines, the bus will stop at the new home for the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts for an exclusive tour before arriving at the main campus.
So, what are you waiting for? Get your tickets now before they’re gone.
