Ian Brindle is leaving Brock.
The chemist has spent more than 40 years at Brock, starting as master’s student, then climbing the ranks to become Vice-President Research in 2010 – a post he used to help make the University a research-intensive institution before stepping down in late 2011.
He retires this month but not before saying good-bye on June 26.
The Brock community is invited to raise a glass to Brindle that day at Alphie’s Trough, from 3 to 5 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and there will be a cash bar.
Please RSVP by June 19 to Judith Maiden at jmaiden@brocku.ca or x4315.
