The Brock farmers market returns Thursday and Carrie Kelly will have some extra cash to spend.

Kelly is the winner of a draw for a $10-market gift certificate. The draw will happen again this week and anyone attending the market can enter.

Sandy Howe and Curtis Gadula (Team Force) have also been crowned champions of the first ladder ball tournament. They competed against teams who epitomized sportsmanship and had fun while doing it.

There will be three new games to partake in this week. Bocce ball, washoos (washer toss), and corn hole (bean bag toss) will make their debuts in Jubilee Court. Ladder ball will also return. All are welcome to participate so challenge your co-workers and neighbouring department in the ultimate battle for bragging rights for the week.

Two new vendors will also being setting up shop this week. The market runs 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
