Music Ed Plus celebrates its first year with two performances

The new Experience Plus program for Music majors – Music Ed Plus – is wrapping up this semester with two recitals presenting its three chamber music ensembles.

The jazz group, the vocal trio with piano and guitar, and the woodwind quartet with piano will be performing a recital featuring a variety of composers and their works on Thursday, March 27 at 12 noon in the Chapel of Concordia Lutheran Seminary.

The event is free and open to the public.

The following week, the chamber music ensembles will be celebrating Brock’s 50th anniversary with a musical extravaganza beginning at 9 a.m. in the hallway outside of the Sankey Chamber on Thursday, April 3.

Entitled ‘50 Musical Compositions for Brock 50′, the ensembles and soloists will perform 50 pieces in a tribute to Brock.
Music Ed Plus is a partnership between the Department of Music and Career Services.
