Volunteers are needed to help with the United Way Day of Caring happening Saturday, Jan. 25.
Help is needed unpacking and sorting items, and assembling kits for clients that include small kitchen and bathroom items. The kits will be distributed to agencies throughout
Niagara to help people moving from temporary shelters into more permanent housing.
The event happens at the former General Motors Ontario Street Plant from 9 a.m. to noon.
Transportation will be provided from Brock University or volunteers can meet at GM.
