Members of the Brock community are being encouraged to attend one of three Town Hall forums for an open discussion about the University’s fiscal environment.
The meetings will take place in the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre on the following dates:
• Wednesday Nov. 13 – 9 a.m.
• Wednesday Nov 13 – 1 p.m.
• Thursday Nov 14 – 9 a.m.
The sessions will be hosted by Brian Hutchings, Brock’s Vice-President of Finance and Administration.
The meetings will start with a presentation that will cover Brock’s 2012-13 financial results, the 2013-14 budget, the University’s fiscal forecast, and the Board of Trustees motion regarding Brock’s fiscal situation.
The format will then open to a Q & A dialogue with the audience.
“We want to be open and transparent with the Brock community about our fiscal situation,” said Hutchings. “It is important to have an open conversation about any ideas or suggestions people have for moving forward.”
