It’s not the usual sort of tablet that some people might associate with wellness.
An iPad mini tablet is up for grabs for students who visit the new Niagara Holistic Wellness Portal, a joint initiative between Brock and Niagara College.
The Niagara Holistic Wellness Portal is a resource tool for students to learn more about mental health and holistic well-being, and become familiar with available local resources.
Students can read interesting news related to healthy living, learn how to become involved in various events in their community and find out about holistic well-being.
The portal, which launched in September, uses a holistic approach to wellness, inspired by the aboriginal concept of the medicine wheel in which person’s mind, body, spirit, and emotions (the four quadrants) should be continually brought into balance to achieve overall wellness.
A contest is currently being held for students at both Brock and the college to win an iPad mini. All they have to do is visit the site and see what it has to offer for their chance to win.
