Flu shots, therapy dogs, interactive displays about healthy lifestyles.
The health conscious and the curious can get their fix on Nov. 4 at the health fair and flu shot clinic hosted by Student Health Services in the Ian Beddis Gym.
The flu shot clinic will be administered by Niagara Region Public Health from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those interested in getting vaccinated can book an appointment online. Otherwise, shots are given on a first come, first served basis.
The health fair, which runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature 80 interactive displays with medical staff from Student Health Services on hand to answer questions. Other health groups and organizations will also be available to help students learn everything they need to know about physical, mental, social, spiritual, financial and environmental health.
The St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs of Brock Puppy Room fame during exams will also be at the fair.
