Some significant milestones were reached this week by the task force overseeing the Program Review that is taking place at Brock:
Program Identification Form
The task force finalized a critical document – the Program Identification Form – that is the first major data input tool of the review. Its questions and answers will help define a current and comprehensive “map” of all academic and administrative programs across the University.
The ID forms, which need to be completed by Sept. 6, are available to supervisors, chairs and managers in the Action Items folder on their My Work page in the Brock portal, mybrocku.ca
Information sessions
As well, information sessions are being held in the coming days to help people understand and complete the forms.
Managers, chairs and directors are encouraged to attend one of the sessions, along with support staff who may be helping complete the forms. Attendees should register in advance online.
The sessions happen in Academic South 202 on:
• Monday, Aug. 19 – 9 – 10:30 a.m.
• Tuesday, Aug. 20 – 1 – 2:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Aug. 22 – 10:30 a.m. – noon
Draft criteria for Review now available
And finally, a draft of the criteria that would be used this fall to assess all University programs was released this week. Members of the Brock community are encouraged to read the criteria, which can be seen on the Program Review website, and to submit any feedback directly to the task force.
Comments can be sent to review@brocku.ca. Please submit all feedback on the criteria by Sept. 6.
