The construction trailers have taken up residency in front of the former Canada Hair Cloth building.
Now that work has begun on the new home to the new Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts, the Brock News will be chronicling the progress of construction with a weekly photo of the site.
Over the weeks and months ahead, viewers will witness the transformation of the old factory that backs on to Highway 406 in downtown St. Catharines into a cornerstone of learning and revitalization in our community.
The new facility will put about 500 students, faculty and staff into the city’s downtown when it relocates from Brock’s main campus. The school will be adjacent to the city’s new performing arts centre and spectator facility.
