It’s the dog days of exam time.

To help students cope with the stress of writing finals, Brock University Students’ Union and Student Health Services are providing some four-legged relief by setting up a puppy room for students to visit with St. John Ambulance therapy dogs.

The pooches will be on campus Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Kenmore Centre, where there will be up to four dogs on hand to help students paws – er, pause – their studying.

Puppy rooms have proven to be a popular stress reliever at other universities that have turned to canine comfort to help students deal with the pressure of exams.

Such a great idea! I hope I will have the time to stop by and give one of the dogs a pat.

    Puppy!!

This is a fantastic idea, they should do it more often.

Great idea… there is that tuition money hard at work. You know what would help ease the stress of exams more? Professors who teach, and write fair exams so you feel prepared when stepping into the room, not walking out afterwards wondering what you actually learned from your professor over the past four months… just putting the idea out there.

You know what will help even more? Brock’s professors actually making time for students to ask questions rather than blowing them off.
