Everybody loves a parade.
But everyone would probably love it even more if they could be part of it. Good news is, Brock’s parade co-ordinators need some help at Saturday’s (Dec. 8) Santa Claus parade in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Volunteers are needed to walk alongside the University’s float, which features a pile of oversize presents, Santa’s sleigh equipped with reindeer ready for Christmas duty, and a Christmas tree. Parade helpers can spread some holiday cheer waving to the crowd and handing out candy canes.
“We’re just looking for people to create a nice presence for the Brock float,” said Curtis Gadula, Brock parade co-ordinator.
“It’s a great opportunity to represent the University in the community and it’s fun to experience the joy of the season.”
Gadula is hoping for about 50 volunteers, which can include clubs, groups and teams.
The parade begins its march through the Old Town at 11 a.m.
