GIS Day returns to the Map Library on Thursday in celebration of Geography Awareness Week.
The event features hands-on GIS workshops, $1,000 Esri Canada GIS Student Scholarship Competition, pizza lunch, trivia contests, door prizes, guest speakers and a GIS cake.
GIS Day is hosted by the Map Library, Department of Geography, Environmental Sustainability Research Centre (ESRC) and the Library’s Data Research Service.
