A Pulitzer Prize-winning author will be in St. Catharines next month to talk about the War of 1812.
Alan Taylor, a history professor at University of California, Davis, will present The Civil War of 1812: American Citizens, British Subjects, Irish Rebels and Indian Allies on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. in the Charles A. Sankey Chamber.
The talk is based on his book of the same name. It’s presented by Brock University’s Department of History, The Lincoln and Welland Regiment, and the U.S. Consulate Toronto.
