During the 2011-12 school year, the Brock University Alumni Association (BUAA) is celebrating its 35th anniversary of incorporation.
As a special tribute to mark the occasion, the BUAA honoured thirty-five graduates at an awards gala at Amici’s Banquet Centre in Thorold on March 31, 2012.
This distinguished group of alumni exemplify the spirit of Brock through their scholarly, creative, humanitarian and professional contributions to Canada and beyond.
The MC for the evening was Rick Campanelli (BPhEd ‘94), co-host of ET Canada, and one of Canada’s most recognizable TV personalities. Campanelli is also a recipient of a 30 From the Past 30 Award – the original name for the Alumni of Distinction Awards when the BUAA celebrated its 30th anniversary in the 2006-07 school year.
