At the 2011-12 Brock University Athletic Awards Dinner, men’s fencer Vincenzo Coia (Niagara Falls, Ont.) and women’s basketball player Jessica Del Signore (Brantford, Ont.) were the 2011-12 recipients of the Brock Surgite Award. The Surgite Award is presented annually to the male and female athlete that best combines athletics and academics.
