Fanny Dolansky presented “Forming characters: the ethical imperatives  of Roman education” at the Humanities Research Institute symposium in December 2011, and a paper titled “Healing Bodies: Slave Women and the  Health of the Household” at the Annual Meeting of the American Philological Association in Philadelphia, Jan. 5 to 8.
