Brian Roy will give the invited presentation “Milk as a sports drink: A review of the evidence” at a UK Dairy Council conference on Nov. 10. The conference, held in London, was called “Milk and Sport: From Science to Practice.”

Felipe E. Ruan presented the paper “La rearticulación de la identidad y agencia mestizas en el Perú colonial del siglo XVI,” at the II jornadas de cultura, lengua y literatura coloniales, Centro de Estudios Coloniales Iberoamericanos/UCLA, in Los Angeles, Calif. on Oct. 27 to 29.
