Students from eleven universities will convene at Brock this weekend for the Brock University Accounting Conference (BUAC).
Eighteen teams, or 72 delegates in total, will compete in the annual event on Saturday, Nov. 19. BUAC gives students the chance to hone the skills and knowledge they’ll need in the accounting field.
The theme of this year’s conference is technology and its impact on the accounting profession. Students will expand their network with peers from other schools and hear guest speakers. They’ll also tackle a challenging case component created by James Moore, Ian Adamson and Gail Cook, professor in Brock’s Faculty of Business.
