What do you like about your job?
I enjoy working with the students.
What do you do for fun?
I watch films. I am especially drawn to classical Hollywood cinema from the 1930s and 1940s. I am also very fond of museums and art galleries.
Where did you go on your last vacation?
Immediately following a conference in Wales in 2008, I spent my birthday in Caernarfon Castle, which was breath-taking for me, since I had written an article discussing Edward I and the English conquest of Wales.
