The Brock Farmers’ Market returns to Jubilee Court next week with vendors and live music.
The market, which was indoors during the winter, will enter its summer mode starting on Friday, June 17. There will be more than a dozen vendors selling local produce and crafts every Friday. New this year, there will be local beer and wine for sale and a massage therapist giving demonstrations, said Iain Glass, managing director of Community and Ancillary Services. The barbecue will also feature items supplied by local farmers.
“This is our fourth year and we’ve really grown,” Glass said. “We’ve gone from selling apples to selling crafts and other services available in the region.”
The market will continue until the end of September. After that, it will move back indoors again, but possibly be held on a different day of the week. In February, the indoor market switched from Fridays to Mondays.
The general public is welcome to attend.
