Three questions with… Phyllis Stanley

Phyllis Stanley

Phyllis Stanley

Phyllis Stanley, an admissions and liaison officer in the Faculty of Education, has worked at Brock since the late 1980s. Her office is in the new Welch Hall extension, where she sets out bowls of candy for anyone who visits her. She lives in Vineland with her husband, John. Their two daughters, Jenni and Cathy, are both Brock grads.

What do you like about your job?

I LOVE my job! I love the people I am blessed to work with in the Faculty of Education and the students who come to me for help with admissions or just to talk. I get to do all the things I loved best when I was teaching — and no papers to mark.

What do you do for fun?

Read, listen to good music, watch a movie with my husband, or just hang out with great friends.

Where did you go on your last vacation?

Earlier this year we went to Myrtle Beach for a great holiday with our best friends. We’re both celebrating 40 years of marriage and felt that this was worthy of something special.
