Monique Homer, TD Canada Trust’s District Vice-President for Niagara, visited Brock this month to drop off the first installment of a $500,000 donation to the university.
The company made the donation as part of the Campaign for a Bold New Brock. The gift will help create a TD Bursary for Environmental Studies as well as support the development of the new Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts campus in downtown St. Catharines.
At the event was, from left, Doug Earle, executive director of the Campaign for a Bold New Brock; Thomas Dunk, Dean of Social Sciences; Homer; Douglas Kneale, Dean of Humanities, and Amy Elder, director of Career Services.
