John Sorenson, professor of Sociology, published an opinion piece entitled “Canada: No country for animals” in The Mark on Aug. 3. In the article, Sorenson discusses a documentary about Canada’s animal rights record.

Sorenson also wrote the opinion piece “Ban the Calgary Stampede,” which appeared in The Mark on Aug. 9. This article also discusses Canada’s treatment of animals.
