Kristen Smith, Community Connections community services co-ordinator, was quoted in the St. Catharines Standard article “800 paddle to beat cancer” on July 27. Smith was a member of the Brock Paddleheads, the university’s team at the annual St. Catharines Dragon Boat Festival. Jeff Capel, spokesman for the festival committee and employee in the Registrar’s Office, was also quoted in a Niagara This Week article.
