Motorists approaching Brock University later this week will encounter lane restrictions when they reach the crest of the Glenridge hill.
From 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 29 to about 5 p.m. on Friday, July 30, southbound Glenridge Avenue from the top of the Glenridge hill past Norman Road will be restricted to one lane due to water main work for the Niagara Health and Bioscience Research Complex.
The Glenridge traffic circle will stay open. Vehicles will still be able to access the main campus at University Road East, though delays may occur due to the lane closure. Pedestrian access will not be affected.
Also, the university building at 573 Glenridge — at the corner of Norman Road — will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 29 to 7 a.m. on Friday, July 30. Water will be cut off to its washrooms, drinking fountains, kitchen facilities and fire hose stations. Access to the building will be allowed on an emergency basis only through Campus Security (905-688-5550 x3200). A fire watch will be maintained by Campus Security throughout the closure.
The building will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 30.
