Hedy McGarrell, Sandra Burger and Catherine Danforth presented “Teacher Response Strategies to L2 Writing: Matching Response Strategy and Desired Outcome” at WEFLA 2010, the 7th International Conference on Foreign Language, Communication and Culture, in Holguin, Cuba on April 21 to 23.

McGarrell also presented, with Burger and Danforth, “From first to second draft: Student (in)action in response to teacher commentary” at the Canadian Association of Applied Linguistics (ACL/CAAL) Conference from June 1 to 3 in Montreal.
