Howie Mandel will perform at the Centre for the Arts this fall as part of the new 2010/2011 season of Hot Ticket shows.

The Toronto-born comedian and host of Deal or No Deal will bring his stand-up tour to Brock on Oct. 13. Mandel is famous for, among other things, his role on St. Elsewhere, doing hidden camera segments on The Tonight Show and his prank-based show Howie Do It.

“The Centre is thrilled to have Howie Mandel perform in the intimate Sean O’Sullivan Theatre,” said Debbie Slade, Centre for the Arts director. “Howie is one of the most recognizable Canadian comics and to be given the chance to present him in our 2010/2011 Professional Entertainment Season is very exciting.”

Mandel recently released an autobiography, Here’s the Deal: Don’t Touch Me, about his rise to comedic fame and his mysophobia (fear of germs). He also hosts Deal or No Deal Canada and will be a judge on the upcoming season of America’s Got Talent.

Tickets to Mandel’s performance are $79. They became available to Centre for the Arts members on May 19 and go on sale for the general public on Sept. 7 at 11 a.m.
