A delegation from Trinidad and Tobago visited Brock this month to learn more about the University.

Camille Robinson-Regis, High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago, visited Brock April 23 along with Keith Kerwood, a Counsellor from the High Commission, and Michael Lashley, Consul General from the Consulate General in Toronto.

While here, the group met with Brock International, International Market Development and International Services. They received a tour of the campus and the new International building, and met with six Trinidad and Tobago students currently studying at Brock.

They also had lunch with Murray Knuttila, Provost and Vice-President, Academic; Kim Meade, Vice Provost and Associate Vice-President, Student Services; Mayor Brian McMullan; Sean Coote, interim director, International from Niagara College, and Helen Atteck and Anthony Weadick from the St. Catharines Twinning Association.

The Garden City is twinned with the Trinidad city of Port of Spain. That twinning includes an annual scholarship for a Trinidad and Tobago student to study at Brock.

The group also talked to Brock officials about student recruitment, as well as forming more links between the University and schools in Trinidad and Tobago.
