Breaking the silence

Po-Ling Bork, a doctoral candidate in Educational Studies at Brock, and Debra Harwood, assistant professor, Education were featured in the St. Catharines Standard article “Breaking the silence” on Feb. 27. In the article, Bork discusses her experiences as mom to a son with selective mutism. The article also ran in the Welland Tribune and the Chatham Daily News. The pair will host a workshop on selective mutism at the Early Childhood Community Development Centre on March 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The workshop is free, but registration is required.
