A venerable Canadian rock band will relive its signature album at a Centre for the Arts show March 26.
54.40 will celebrate its 30th anniversary by performing its classic Green Album from top to bottom. The 1986 album, which includes the songs “Baby Ran” and “I Go Blind”, was their first album to find major distribution. It coincided with the emergence of MuchMusic.
The band will play two sets at the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre. The first will be a recreation of the album. The second will be a mixture of new material and hits from the past 20 years.
54.50 has toured the world and released nine albums. Its last album was Yes To Everything on True North Records.
The band is comprised of Dave Genn (formerly of Matthew Good Band), Neil Osborne, Brad Merritt and Matt Johnson.
Tickets are $42.50, or $20 for post-secondary students and $5 for high school students.
