Derek Knight, director of the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts, was quoted in a Feb. 12 St. Catharines Standard article about his appointment as the first endowed Marilyn I. Walker chair. President Jack Lightstone, Humanities Dean Rosemary Hale and Marilyn I. Walker are also quoted.

“Although the provincial funding for this school has not been received as of yet, Brock does have the endowed funds in place to install the chair of creativity, imagination and innovation in order to get the process of moving forward with the programs and faculty that will make this department of humanities into a world-class facility,” Walker said.
