After 28 years at Brock, a manager in the office of Student Awards and Financial Aid (SAFA) is hanging up her hat.

Mary Poulin, financial aid manager, is retiring on June 30. She worked in the Campus Store before moving up to SAFA as a financial aid officer. She has held her current position for eight years.

Poulin said she has enjoyed meeting students and working with faculty and staff.

“I like helping out students get as much money as they can for their education,” she said.

In retirement, Poulin plans to “take it easier and babysit my grandchildren, and do some gardening.”

There will be a celebration in Poulin’s honour on June 24 from 3 to 6 p.m. in Alphie’s Trough. Tickets are $10 and refreshments will be served. For tickets or more information, contact Rico Natale at 905-688-5550 x3443 or
