The Brock Cyclones want to get moving to help support the new Walker Family Cancer Centre.

And they’re looking for some help to do that.

The cycling group, made up of Brock staff, faculty, and friends, will be participating in the Big Move Cancer Ride fundraiser for the cancer centre this fall and the team is looking for fellow cyclists to join the effort.

The Big Move Cancer Ride is a non-competitive cycling event happening Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013. The ride includes multiple distances through Niagara, starting and ending at Club Roma in St. Catharines. Ride distances are 25, 50 or 100 kilometres, or the 100 Mile Century Challenge.

This year marks the second that the team will be in the Big Move Cancer Ride.

To register with the team, or to make a donation, go to the Big Move Cancer Ride website.

For more information, please contact team captain Marion Hansen at mhansen@brocku.ca or ext. 5380.
