Copyright information sessions will inform Brock community

copyright symbolThe James A. Gibson Library and the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Educational Technologies are holding two upcoming sessions on copyright issues.

The copyright environment in Canada continues to change, giving rise to questions about the current status of copyright and the University. “Copyright Issues: Updates and Fair Dealing” will offer an overview of copyright and faculty/staff responsibilities as they currently stand. It will also provide information about the supports in place for teaching, learning, and research as Brock moves towards operating outside the Access Copyright Interim Tariff in September 2012.

When:

  • Monday, Nov. 21, 1 to 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 6, 10 to 11 a.m.

Both sessions will be in E-classroom, TH 253.
