Martin Head recently gave a short course at a university in Iran.

The Earth Sciences professor lectured on late Cenozoic dinoflagellate cysts to the Department of Geology at the University of Tehran. There were 10 participants, who were drawn from the oil industry and academia. The local organizer was Prof. Ebrahim Ghasemi-Nejad, who previously spent six months of a sabbatical leave with Head at Brock.

After the course, Head and Ghasemi-Nejad were invited to lunch with Hasan Asadi, Vice-President International at the University of Tehran. Asadi was previously a professor in Brock’s Department of Sport Management.
