Professional and Therapeutic Communications
Communication theories, process, skills and research in a variety of practice settings and roles with individuals and groups. Transcultural communication models and tools. Power and gender issues. Media and political activism.

Clinical placement providing the opportunity for the practice, application and integration of nursing skills and theory. Placement selected from a variety of health care settings.
Minimum: 100 hours, maximum 16 hours per week.

Note: transportation to clinical placement is a student responsibility. Failure to succeed after two attempts will result in dismissal from the program.
