About the School Reintegration Project

Thank you for taking the time to visit this site. The purpose of this study is to identify individual and school related factors that contribute to the optimal environment for school success and the reintegration of children and youth with acquired brain injury (ABI). This research study will be very significant in advancing the knowledge and research into the effects of ABI on competent populations.
The goal is to identify influential factors for success in an academic environment that would enhance reintegration of students who have experienced ABI.

We are inviting children and youths ages 6 to 18 who have experienced an ABI to participate in this study. Participants will be at least 2 years postinjurybut no more than 5 years post-injury, and have returned to their community school environment.

We invite educators and parents to participate in our research and to seek assistance. We have literature that can enhance your students' learning after experiencing an ABI.
