The Food First program is a service aimed to address the growing issues of food and health insecurity among Canadian post-secondary students. On-campus supports along with food banks, meal programs and other resources in the Niagara community can offer help to Brock students in need.

Community Resources
Created by Student Life and Success, the Brock University Food Access Map is your guide to food both on and off campus. Use the layers to discover the locations of food options on campus, local grocery stores, specialty grocery stores including cultural and natural food stores, farmers markets, and where you can go to learn more about food access. Also featured on the map are bus routes near food access centres to help you navigate your way to a good meal! View the interactive map.
Flipp collects all store fliers in an area and provides easy access to all deals in 1 place. Using this in combination with WalMart’s price matching policy will allow you to get all available deals in 1 location.
Flashfoods will tell you what nearby grocery stores are selling foods that are approaching their best before/expiration date and will be marked down considerably from their original price.
Too Good To Go is a social impact company on a mission to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. The app allows users to rescue good food from going to waste, offering great value for money at local stores, cafes and restaurants.
