The Brock Chapter of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement 2020 Conference will be hosted at Brock University through a partnership with the Brock University’s Chapter of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and the Interprofessional Education for Quality Improvement Program (I-EQUIP).

The conference aims to engage students, health professionals, and IHI Chapters across Ontario to encourage building stronger connections, sharing resources, and expanding the network of change agents.

Featured topics

The conference topic will be engaging patients in quality improvement in healthcare. Sessions will address the importance of engaging patients, understanding the logistics of partnering with patients from a hospital and community perspective, and current innovations and best practices for incorporating patient voices into quality initiatives.

Speakers and presenters

Brock IHI 2020 Conference will feature speakers affiliated with the IHI, Brock University, Niagara Health, Hotel Dieu Shaver, Niagara Falls Community Health Centre, Niagara Region Public Health and more! The schedule will consist of two keynote speakers, storyboard presentations, an interprofessional panel presentation, and interactive group discussions.

Attendees

The Brock IHI Conference is for students, health professionals, and community members with an interest in quality improvement. Everyone is welcome to attend! Storyboard and abstract presentations will also be highlighted, allowing attendees to promote their work and engage with other like-minded change agents.
