I-EQUIP

The Interprofessional Education for Quality Program (I-EQUIP) was founded in 2012 by Dr. Madelyn Law, Associate Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at Brock University.

Through the I-EQUIP program students have the opportunity to lead a quality improvement project in collaboration with a community partner. This allows students to learn about and apply principles of change management, quality improvement, and teamwork. In the past 10 years, students have served over 200 patients, completed over 60 projects, and engaged with 10 health organizations. Students have also gone on to pursue medical school, nursing, allied health professions, graduate schools, and have been published in academic journals.
