Volunteer week a success

Fore the second year in a row, Brock University has participated in offering staff and faculty an opportunity to give back to the Niagara community as part of National Volunteer Week. Staff were invited to register on the Focus on Learning website to indicate their availability for volunteering from 9 a.m. to noon or 1-4 p.m. on April 13 or 14, 2016. Brock had 22 staff members volunteer during the two days, partnering with Community Living – Grimsby/West Lincoln, the Alzheimer’s Society, Heartland Forest and Morningstar Mill. Partners in Student Life and Community Experience worked with Health Management and Wellness to set up the opportunities for staff to volunteer.
