Teens test French skills at Brock

The 43rd instalment of the Brock-Niagara French Contest/le concours de français Brock-Niagara welcomed Grade 10 students from schools across Niagara to campus on Wednesday, April 24. Since 1978, the language competition has given high school students an opportunity to demonstrate their French skills through activities designed to test language proficiency. In addition to interactive language activities, students got a glimpse of campus life during tours led by Brock French students and enjoyed lunch in Market Hall before an awards ceremony honouring the winning teams. The event was organized by Brock’s Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures in collaboration with the Niagara Catholic District School Board and local schools from Ontario’s French school boards, the Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir and the Conseil scolaire Viamonde.
