Teens get taste of Brock programming

During Reading Week, hundreds of high school students — including those pictured from Sandalwood Heights Secondary School in Brampton — visited Brock's main campus to take part in reach ahead programming. In collaboration with Faculties and services, Student Recruitment hosted 13 school groups from the local community, as well as from as far away as Sarnia and Sudbury, to take part in programming linked to specialist high skills majors. The programming tied together courses and experiential education opportunities around themes such as business, health and wellness, criminal justice, and arts and culture. Students took part in various activities, including mock lectures, case simulations, lab demonstrations, Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre workshops, Med Plus and Law Plus student panels, and arts and culture workshops.
