On May 3, Brock's Confucius Institute team was invited to participate and perform 24-form Yang Style Tai Chi together with Toronto Yunfeng Tai Chi Centre at the Opening Ceremony for Asian Heritage Month at Parliament Hill in Ottawa. This opening ceremony was sponsored by the senate and all Canadian Asian senators attended the event.
