TA Day a huge success

More than 100 TAs from across all disciplines participated in a full day of professional development with the Centre for Pedagogical Innovation (CPI) on Saturday, Sept. 8. The day opened with Teaching Assistant Tales: Stories from the Classroom, a panel moderated by CPI's Educational Developer Lianne Fisher and featuring TAs, from left, Emily Guertin (Graduate Students' Association President) and Jennifer Roters from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Christina Quintiliani from the Faculty of Education, Evans Boadi from the Faculty of Math and Science, and Natalie Armistead and Rick Castle from the Faculty of Humanities. Sessional instructors and TAs are encouraged to participate in the TA Certificate Program  and the Instructional Skills Workshop. More than 1,600 Teaching and Learning certificates have been awarded to Brock TAs.
