Students experience a Canadian pastime

On Saturday, April 7, Brock International Services took dozens of domestic and international students on a Spring Sugar Bush Tour at Agape Valley in Pelham. The group took a guided walk through the forest and then visited the sugar shack to learn how maple syrup is produced. The tour concluded with a lunch that included pancakes, sausage and farm-fresh maple syrup. For many Canadians, experiencing the harvesting and production of maple syrup is considered a right of passage and for visitors around the world, a popular souvenir to commemorate their trip. The event marked the end of the winter semester, and for many students will form a lasting memory about their experience in Canada.
