Speed mentors talk math, science

Eight female Brock University graduate students working in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) spent time speaking with young girls during a speed-mentoring activity, co-ordinated by the Vitae Office in the Faculty of Grad Studies, at the IBM STEM 4 Girls Camp on April 26 and 27. The event was held in conjunction with the CONNECT Conference — an annual education technology conference in Niagara Falls. Participating in industry-led events that expand professional networks is a key component of Brock’s commitment to Experiential Education. Pictured from left are Brock graduate students Caitlyn Gallant, Leona Yiu, Natalya Zvereva, Meera Mahmud, Lara Green, Theresa Bukovics, Jennifer Kelly and Yosra Kazemi.
