Members of the 2024 Smart Start team recently got a taste of Brock University's Grape and Wine Science program when they toured the Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI). The group, who will help new students prepare for classes in the fall, explored CCOVI lab spaces, teaching winery and the world-renowned 44,000-bottle capacity wine cellar that stores wines made from the program as well as wines used for research and professional and continuing study courses. CCOVI Administrative Assistant Taylor MaGee (left) took a selfie with the group to commemorate their visit.
