Signs of progress at Goodman School of Business

The $22 million expansion and renovation project for the Goodman School of Business has officially started. A large sign with an artist's rendering of the project was installed earlier this week, and on Thursday pre-construction site preparation got underway. The existing Taro Hall will be renovated entirely and will include building expansions to both east and west ends of the building. Pre-construction activities include the installation of a new temporary asphalt sidewalk to provide pedestrian access east to west. The current sidewalk running from Isaac Brock Boulevard East to Mackenzie Chown B Block/Plaza Building will be blocked off due to construction. Access will remain between Student Alumni Centre and Taro Building. Temporary construction fencing around Taro Hall and the establishment of a construction site staging area on the south side of Taro Hall, north of Student-Alumni Centre, is anticipated to start next week.
